I am a family photographer with over 17 years’ experience in creating artistic, natural portraits of happy families. I’ll be there with my camera to capture these moments for you, always unobtrusive, in my signature modern and elegant style.

Outdoor Family Photoshoots
An outdoor family photoshoot is the ultimate family portrait experience. It is colourful, easygoing and each session has its own unique vibe. If you like images that are are infused with magic and emotion, there is nothing that compares to shooting outside! And with the right local knowledge and a bit of imagination, the possibilities are endless.
Where Can We Go?
Pretty much anywhere you like.
We can go to your favourite spot, or I can make a recommendation based on distance, accessibility and your children’s age.
I can travel all around London and the South East, including some amazing coastal locations like West Wittering, the Isle of Wight and the New Forest.
International photoshoots can also be arranged, so if you would like me to capture your holiday memories, do get in touch.
What Can We do?
Wildlife exploring, playing games, a splash at the beach or just a simple walk all make wonderful photoshoot activities to bring everyone together, and really make your family portraits come to life.
And if it’s time for a break? No problem. We will pause whenever necessary – be it for a snack, a cuddle or simply to catch our breaths.
Shoots are planned around your schedule and can be booked at any time of day – sunrise, sunset and anything in between, weekdays and weekends.

Family Portraits at Home
A family photo shoot in the comfort of your own home is a great alternative to an outdoor session. It’s so easy and convenient. Everyone always looks so happy and in their element. The children are free to come and go as they please, and no-one ever feels under pressure to perform for the photographer.
Why Shoot At Home?
Because it’s cosy and intimate. And you don’t even have to leave the house!
Your home becomes the backdrop of our shoot, with all those personal touches that tell the story about your family life. Storytelling comes so naturally when we’re sharing that space.
Perfect for younger children and older/extended families alike, it’s the ultimate in flexibility and personalisation.
How Far Do You Travel?
I regularly visit my clients at home in Basingstoke and all around Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and beyond – including Reading, Newbury, Winchester, Richmond and Greater and Central London.
And if you’re outside of these areas, let’s talk! I can and do travel nationally and internationally for my sessions.
5 Steps to Perfect Portraits
1 - Pre-shoot chat
After our initial contact, we’ll meet at my studio or via a video call. It’s a great opportunity to share ideas for your session, answer all your questions and gather inspiration for the many ways to display your portraits.
We’ll also start getting to know each other, so that you will feel more comfortable on your shoot day.
2 - The Photoshoot
On the big day, we will meet at our agreed time and location for our shoot.
Usually, we’ll be together between an hour and a half and two hours, going at your pace and pausing whenever necessary to make sure everyone is happy.
3 - Image editing
After your session, my editing job begins. I will make a strong selection of the best images from the day (usually 50+) and edit them to perfection.
My signature editing includes colour and contrast, cropping for best composition, some gentle skin retouching and a pinch of magic as standard! Natural colour editing is my speciality, so that your portraits never fall out of style.
The editing process takes approximately three weeks.
4 - The Reveal
Once your gallery is ready, we will meet at my studio (or via video call) for our Reveal appointment. Here, we will review your fully edited image gallery together, and create your portrait order.
During this 60-90 minute session, you will be able to choose from a wide range of display options for the style that best suits your images and personal taste.
I will be there at every step of the way, to guide and advise you in a completely pressure-free manner.
5 - Order delivery
Your order will be ready approximately two to six weeks after your viewing appointment. Production times vary according to the product ordered.
I check every order personally for quality and hand-deliver all orders within 10 miles of the studio. Collection can also be arranged.
If you live further away, don’t worry – I am always happy to help you arrange a courier delivery anywhere in the world!
Family Photoshoot Pricing
My Full Story family photoshoots are priced in two parts: a session fee from £250, which covers your shoot and editing, and a separate image order placed after your viewing appointment.
This way, you only pay for the images you truly love rather than choosing upfront. Most families invest between £1,000 and £5,000 on a selection of digital images, wall art and fine art albums. Read more about The Full Story here.
