It’s January 1st, 2017!
Today we wave goodbye to funny old 2016 and greet the New Year with hope and enthusiasm. The world may be changing, but one thing has stayed the same: the humbling bond between parents and their children. As a professional family photographer, today I am thankful that the year just gone has brought so many opportunities to document this relationship in all its glory.
It has been an incredible privilege to be create beatiful and timeless portraits of many families in 2016. I’ve travelled far wide around London, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire to capture newborn babies, new Mums and Dads, and older children full of laughter and games. Some were new encounters, and others were friendships cultivated over the years. I love seeing my photography clients come back time and time again, and to see their precious children grow in age, personality and confidence.
And of course, this year, too, has brought many lessons to be learned through the lens. Enjoy this lighthearted insight into the past year of children’s photography.
