If you follow this blog, you may have noticed a certain lack of entries as of late. I am still most definitely around and working very hard for my lovely clients, whose beautiful portraits will grace this blog once again in the next few days! But before resuming normal service, I wanted to share some images from our trip to Sicily last month. My eyes and heart are still full of the sunshine, sea and warmth of my old home. Isn’t it funny how, as you get older, you get to appreciate more and more the things you took for granted (almost snubbed!) as a child? Anyhow, I feel incredibly fortunate to come from such a spectacular part of the world, and love that my children enjoy visiting the places that are so familiar to me and that hold so many beautiful memories.
At the old tuna cannery in Scopello
Macari, San Vito Lo Capo – one of the most amazing coastlines on the island
In Scopello Old Town (the girls are on a traditional horse-drawn Sicilian cart illustrated with hand painted scenes from Sicilian folklore stories)
Swimming in Cala Mazzo di Sciacca, Scopello
What gorgeous images of your beautiful family having an fabulous holiday in a stunning location I have added it to my list of places to visit 🙂 LOVE THEM ALL x
Absolutely beautiful photographs and kids (mum & dad aren’t bad either!!). The shot with the hat is particularly stunning. x
