Susie and Gavin knew exactly what Gavin’s Mum would love for her birthday – a family photo shoot featuring her beautiful family and precious grandchildren! So, on a sunny Saturday morning in July, we made it happen.
I’ve photographed the B family many times over the years (including both girls as newborns!), but this was the first time that I met the rest of the B clan. Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Ross joined us on this candid photo shoot at Dinton Pastures, near Reading and Wokingham. It was summer in full swing, and we were all in good spirits (the promise of a big ice cream at the end may have had something to do with this!). We set off to explore this gorgeous location and its hidden nooks and crannies. There was so much to see! The jetties, the lake, the very old trees and the myriad of colourful insects swarming around the water.
It was clear to see how Grandma and Grandpa dote on their two young ladies, and the strong bond the girls shared with their uncle. And of course, Susie and Gavin are now seasoned pros at the old family photoshoot thing. Always natural and relaxed, which always pays off with beautiful, happy memories such as these.
Here is a small preview of the exciting images we captured on the day. I am looking forward to showing the family the full set – I am sure they will have a hard time picking favourites, just like I did when creating the collage for this post!
