We’re well into November and I think it is now socially acceptable to start thinking about Christmas! 🙂
Portraits of the littlest people we love are a thoughtful and well appreciated Christmas gift for close family and friends. It is with this thought in mind that this lovely family came to see me last weekend, to capture some simple images of their little boy with his new baby sister, and of course of their family all together.
Megan was 8 weeks old at the time of the shoot, and very smiley and alert. By the time a baby is around two months old, the focus of a photo session shifts from newborn portraits, to capturing their first expressions and emerging personality. What made this session particularly lovely, was to observe how kind and loving big brother Luke was to his baby sister. He held her so gently and spoke to her in a way that showed how strong their bond is already.
