In early May this year, I went back to Brick Kiln Cottage for my second photo session with this adorable family of six. A year and a half had passed since I last saw them and I was just amazed to see how much they had grown in such a short time span. I mean, the littlest one wasn’t even walking last time and I am pretty sure she could outrun me now 🙂
It is always a great feeling to work with my clients across the years, as every time we meet we get to know each other a little bit better. The eldest children of the family remembered me and already knew the drill perfectly well, and the youngest two caught on pretty much immediately! We had a fantastic time exploring the grounds of this beautiful location, that has so much to offer in addition to its gorgeous yearly English bluebell display. The children particularly liked the fully equipped, original shepherd’s hut, and meeting the lovely Ginger, the most patient cat I have ever met.
One thing about this session – SO. MUCH. RUNNING. AROUND. I did a fair bit of chasing and got chased too – we all got a magnificent workout and some really natural happy portraits thrown in the bargain.
Here are some of my highlights from the day. Massive overload as usual but scroll through and you’ll see what I mean when I tell you it was a hard choice to make a selection! Looking forward to next time already, I’ll get my running gear at the ready 🙂
